October Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to the October Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! We are featuring the Home For the Holidays stamp set. If you are here from Paige's blog then you are in the right place. The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s blog.

This is a really fun Christmas stamp set, but I wanted to show the versatility of the stamp set. To make this card I used Skylark Picture My Life cards along with Juniper and Sweet Leaf inks, green and blue epoxy bubbles and wood grain Washi tape (see below for the complete supply list).

My favorite surprise of this card is the top border. It's made using the candy cane stamp!

Oh, and did I mention that this stamp set coordinates with the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge? You can see which stamps coordinate by the red outline around the image.

Thank you for stopping by my little corner of the world! Your next stop is Dawn's blog.

Like always, this stamp set is only $5 with a qualifying order at www.aprilnourse.ctmh.com and it's only available through October 31st.

Supplies used:

Lagoon Ink

Sweet Leaf Ink

Liquid Glass

Picture My Life Skylark

Green & Blue Epoxy Bubbles

Green colored pencil

Lsat week, I took my daughters to the pumpkin patch.  We are always amazed at the variety of pumpkins and gourds.  We brought three home - one white, one orange with green around the bottom, and one orange with bumps all over it.  It was a reminder to me that God created us all to be different.  With that in mind, I created a card with an unusually colored pumpkin, standing out in front of an orange background.

To make this card, I used the Wild Card Cricut cartridge. The paper and stamped sentiment are from Close to my Heart, as well as the Chocolate, New England Ivy and Sunset inks used on the paper.

We would love for you to follow our blog and "like" us at www.facebook.com/curlsandgrins!

In our family, we are about fun and happy days, not scary and spooky ones.  My pumpkin creation represents my three happy daughters with a simple reminder for you...

To make this standard card, I used two Cricut cartridges (Paper Doll Dress Up for the pumpkins and Potpourri Basket for the sentiment).  The paper and bronze glitter are from Close to my Heart, as well as the Chocolate and Sunset inks used for distressing the cardstock.
