Finished Friday

On Wednesday I showed you my work in progress using my scraps from the Cloud Nine cardmaking kit. Today I'd like to share my finished project.

I created a 2-page layout using my kit and adding 2 sheets of White Daisy cardstock and some white scraps.  This layout will be for my son's 8th birthday party, so I used the Artiste and Art Philosophy cartridges to add some life.

The best part is that I still have oodles of Washi tape and teal shimmer trim to create many more cards and projects!  Get your kit while they're still available so you can play with them too.

Wednesday Work In Progress

Today I'm starting a new feature on my blog called "Wednesday Work In Progress."  I'm sharing the beginning stages of a project with you today.  I hope it inspires you to create something similar, whether it's the papers, embellishments, or project type.  I would love for you to share your inspired photos with me either by linking to your blog in the comments or posting your photo on my Facebook page at www.facebook.com/aprilctmh

This layout is from the leftover materials from my Cloud 9 cardmaking kit.  The card kit includes some sneak peek products from the Spring/Summer Idea Book, including gold polka dot washi tape, triangle studs, and teal shimmer trim.  When you're finished making your cards, you will have oodles of washi tape and shimmer trim left, as well as some paper and studs.  I used 2 sheets of white daisy cardstock and some colonial white scraps to get this layout started.  My inspiration came from Make It From Your Heart Volume 2.  Here's my work in progress:

I look forward to seeing your projects.  Come back on Friday to see my final product!
