Our Hearts are with You
I made this card last month for a workshop this Friday. As I stamped it, I wondered what I would use it for. Today, I feel the need to make several of these cards to send because I know of so many hurts. I was very sad to hear of an acquaintance who lost her daughter last week and dealt with this burden alone. No phone calls or friends stopping by to help. Please don't let this happen around you, especially during this holiday season.

Happy Birthday Jesus Blog Hop
Welcome to the "Happy Birthday Jesus" blog hop hosted by Lynne Kirsch (http://slasewcraftiness.blogspot.com/) and Lorby's World (http://lorbysworld.blogspot.com).
The holiday season is in full swing and with it rushing to get up the decorations and buy all those presents but in our rush we sometimes forget the whole reason we have this beautiful holiday - to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
A wonderful line up of people have come together and put their rushed holiday lives on hold to show the true meaning of Christmas. Please hop through and leave them each a comment since they have worked hard to help make this hop a success.
I don't want Christmas to end on December 25th, so I lean towards blues, greys and whites that will last through winter. That way we can celebrate just a little longer.
I created this trio of cards using Close to my Heart retired papers (I ordered extra because I loved them so much!). The highlight of each card is the snowflake cut out using the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge. It is then embossed and sponge daubed to give the texture. Some are embellished with pearls for added pop.
Thanks for visiting! If you like what you see, you can follow my blog at the right, like my Facebook page, and follow me on Pinterest. Lorby's World has a give away going on so please make sure you stop there to see how to enter and thank you for hopping with us today.
